Football Game Preview: North Forsyth Vikings vs. Oak Grove Grizzlies + How To Watch

For the first time this season, North Forsyth will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. After each having a week off, they and the Oak Grove Grizzlies will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Forsyth has given up an average of 26.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Forsyth is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were outmatched by East Surry and fell 48-20.

North Forsyth's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Cyncere Goff, who rushed for 75 yards and one TD on only seven carries, and Karon Lindsay, who rushed for 78 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Meanwhile, Oak Grove was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Friday as they fell 26-21 to Northern Guilford. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Forsyth will have to contain Jaiquan Clay as he made an impact in Oak Grove's last game. He picked up 128 receiving yards and one touchdown. Grayson Treadway was another key player, having thrown for 270 yards and two touchdowns.

North Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Oak Grove, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
