La Cueva came tearing into  Thursday's  match with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Capital Jaguars 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  on October 14th.
 The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16,  25-8.
La Cueva found their leader in sophomore  Embrey Eisele, who  had ten  digs and two  aces.
 La Cueva  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 14  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 19 consecutive  contests.
La Cueva's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Capital, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record  this season.
