Baseball Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss

Middletown came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Camp Hill Lions, falling 7-1. The Blue Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Middletown saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was George Hartwick, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Camp Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

While Middletown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
