Freedom extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Riccardo Palombarini. The Freedom Patriots took their match on Friday with ease, bagging an 83-46 win over the Circle Christian Centurions thanks in part to Palombarini, who went 9 for 11 on his way to 24 points and seven boards. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Shaun Fonoti, who went 8 of 11 en route to 16 points and five rebounds. Those 16 points gave him a new career-high.
Circle Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Noah Whisler, who posted seven points and seven steals. Freedom wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 75-39 loss against Lake Mary on the 27th. As for Circle Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-47 defeat against International Community on the 25th.
