Basketball Recap: Deckerville Comes Up Short

Deckerville lost against Dryden back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Deckerville Eagles fell 63-50 to the Dryden Cardinals. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Deckerville's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Dryden, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Deckerville will face off against Harbor Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Harbor Beach will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Deckerville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dryden, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Dryden Cardinals take on the Mayville Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dryden is facing Mayville at the right time seeing as Mayville is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
