The Grant Pacers will take on the Antelope Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
On Friday, Grant took their contest with ease, bagging a 38-3 victory over West Park. With the Pacers ahead 24-3 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
A big part of Grant's win came down to the chemistry between Blake Nycum and his top target Koby Shabazz. Nycum threw for 249 yards and three TDs on only 19 passes while Shabazz picked up 65 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Grant's run defense was locked in: West Park could only muster 2.2 yards per carry. The team can thank Julian Bruno for the heroic effort on defense: he. Grant's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 3.8.

Grant didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dez Duncan and Bruno. Bruno is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in each of the last six games he's played. Giovanni Hodge was another major factor on D, picking up two sacks and making six total tackles.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Antelope). They blew past Cordova 42-8 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Titans considering their seven-point performance the game before.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Antelope's defense and their six sacks. Leading the way was Dominik Davis with two. He has become a key player for Antelope: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least one sack, but 0-4 otherwise.
The victory got Grant back to even at 4-4. As for Antelope, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-5.
Everything came up roses for Grant against Antelope in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 52-7 victory. Do the Pacers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
