Cranston East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of the Scituate Spartans by a score of 1-0. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Maxwell Catrambone was handed one for the Thunderbolts, while the Spartans got theirs courtesy of Jason Bettez.
Cranston East's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-4. As for Scituate, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-0-2.
