South Grand Prairie's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the West Trojans 7-5.

South Grand Prairie's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6-1. As for West, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-1 record this season.

South Grand Prairie will be taking part in a tournament against Peaster at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for West, they will take on Centennial in a tournament on Friday. Centennial's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so West's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
