Football Game Preview: Coolidge Colts vs. Ballou Knights + How To Watch

The Coolidge Colts will take on the Ballou Knights at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Coolidge played against Dunbar on Thursday and lost via forfeit.

Coolidge's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brandon Austin, who rushed for 70 yards and one TD on only eight carries, and Aleem Moore, who rushed for 33 yards and one touchdown.

Ballou is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Woodson, who was ranked 13th at the time (Ballou was ranked 15th). The Knights took a 24-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Saturday.

With the defeat, Coolidge broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2. As for Ballou, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

Everything went Coolidge's way against Ballou in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Coolidge made off with a 20-0 victory. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
