Volleyball Recap: Trion Comes Up Short

Trion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Northwest Whitfield Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Trion's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Northwest Whitfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Trion will head out on the road to challenge Coosa on Thursday. As for Northwest Whitfield, they will face off against Fannin County at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
