Softball Recap: St. Monica Comes Up Short

St. Monica fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Wiseburn- Da Vinci on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 7-5. The Mariners' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

St. Monica saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Hernandez, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

St. Monica's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-10.

As of now, neither St. Monica nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
