Basketball Recap: Somerville Takes a Loss

Somerville was the 53-46 winner over Richards when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Somerville Yeguas fell 58-48 to the Richards Panthers on Friday.

Somerville has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Richards, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Somerville is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Holland at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Richards will take on North Zulch in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
