Basketball Recap: Central Kitsap Takes a Loss

Central Kitsap lost against Gig Harbor back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Central Kitsap Cougars took a 54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gig Harbor Tides.

Central Kitsap dropped their record down to 11-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Gig Harbor, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Kitsap will venture away from home to square off against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games. As for Gig Harbor, they are taking a road trip to face off against Mount Tahoma at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gig Harbor is facing Mount Tahoma at the right time seeing as Mount Tahoma is stuck on a 19-game losing streak.
