Softball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Glenn lost against Rouse back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Glenn Grizzlies fell 10-6 to the Rouse Raiders.

Glenn got a good showing from Kiplyn Vitela, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Ally Johnson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that she brought in this season. Addison Vargas was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Rouse, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Glenn has already played their next matchup, a 6-3 win against Weiss on the 27th. As for Rouse, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-3 tie against Georgetown on the 27th.
