KIPP Austin Collegiate had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-23.

Gabriela Semenov paced KIPP Austin Collegiate's offense, picking up five kills. Semenov got some help from Sofia Miranda and her 12 assists. Miranda also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Linai Green, each putting up four.
