Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils vs. Upper St. Clair Panthers

Mt. Lebanon has won four straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Upper St. Clair has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils will welcome the Upper St. Clair Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Thursday, Mt. Lebanon ended up a good deal behind Imani Christian Academy and lost 79-65.

Meanwhile, Upper St. Clair made easy work of Hempfield Area on Friday and carried off a 75-50 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Upper St. Clair's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Mt. Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Mt. Lebanon strolled past Upper St. Clair when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 60-43. Does Mt. Lebanon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Upper St. Clair turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
