Baseball Recap: Midwest City Comes Up Short

Midwest City lost against Collinsville last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bombers came up short against the Cardinals, falling 15-3. The Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Midwest City's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Collinsville, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Coming up, Midwest City will challenge El Reno at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Bombers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Collinsville, they will take on Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
