Savoy has gone 9-1 against Fannindel recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Savoy Cardinals will challenge the Fannindel Falcons at 5:00 p.m. Savoy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 47-19, which was the final score in Savoy's tilt against Dodd City on Friday. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Fannindel ended up a good deal behind Miller Grove on Friday and lost 71-55. The Falcons have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Savoy will have to keep a close watch on Korshonti Aubrey and Kor'Ziareona Aubrey, a pair of players who had a big impact on Fannindel's prior game. Korshonti dropped a double-double on 14 points and 29 boards, while Kor'Ziareona posted 21 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That was a full 38.2% of Fannindel's points, marking the 14th time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zabriya Lawerence, who put up six points and four steals.

Even though they lost, Fannindel smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in nine consecutive matchups.

Savoy's record now sits at 13-8. As for Fannindel, their record now sits at 7-14.

Everything came up roses for Savoy against Fannindel in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 66-30 victory. Will Savoy repeat their success, or does Fannindel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
