Soccer Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

If Jackson was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Rutland on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Devils fell just short of the Pike County Pirates by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Jackson couldn't quite close it out.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Pike County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jackson is set to square off against their familiar foe Westside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pike County will face off against rival Morgan County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
