Volleyball Preview: Fisher Bunnies vs. Armstrong Trojans
The Fisher Bunnies are on the road again on Monday to play the Armstrong Trojans at 7:00 p.m.
Last Tuesday, Fisher came up short against Deer Creek-Mackinaw and fell 2-0.
The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16.
Despite their loss, Fisher saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Paige Hott, who had 11 digs, two kills, and two kills, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Kellems, who had seven digs and three aces.
Meanwhile, Armstrong entered their tilt with Schlarman on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hilltoppers.
Armstrong never let Schlarman on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19.
Fisher has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Armstrong, the victory got them back to even at 9-9-1.
