The biggest upset of the week belonged to Westlake, who defeated 29th ranked North Point, 38-26.

Adding to the longest winning streak in Southern Maryland this week, Patuxent beat Northern 34-27. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Panthers.

MJ Wallace was a force in the backfield as Calvert beat Chopticon.

Jack Pilkerton had an awesome week catching the football as La Plata fell to Huntingtown. He caught 10 passes for 262 yards.

Alex Calvert threw for 280 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Calvert put up the best numbers through the air as the Warriors lost to the Hurricanes. Calvert's favorite target this week was Pilkerton, who caught 10 passes for 262 yards.

La Plata's Calvert and Pilkerton have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Calvert has thrown for 2,168 yards this season, while Pilkerton has 66 catches for 1,318 yards. The Eagles' Marquel Dickerson leads the league in rushing yards with 1,759.

Accruing a total of 7 touchdowns this year, Donovyn Jordan has thrown for 1,848 yards with 9 interceptions.

In 134 carries Wallace has accumulated 974 yard this year.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Huntingtown takes on the Wolverines. Brendan Galligan's team is in second place, while Westlake is in fifth place.

The Wolverines were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in Southern Maryland. Earlier in the week, Westlake defeated North Point 38-26.
