Soccer Recap: Sheridan vs. West Muskingum

Sheridan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the West Muskingum Tornadoes, falling 4-1. The game was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for the Generals it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Kasen Miller, who's now up to two this season.

Sheridan's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for West Muskingum, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2-1.

Sheridan will be playing in front of their home fans against New Lexington at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. New Lexington is coming into the contest with three straight wins on the road, so Sheridan will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for West Muskingum, they will take on Maysville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Maysville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.6 goals per game this season.
