Softball Recap: Comer Comes Up Short

Comer lost against Vincent back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 20-2 to the Yellow Jackets. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Comer saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nema Holley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Holley hit this season. Another was Kylie Harrison, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Comer's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Vincent, they moved to 10-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, Comer and Vincent will both be playing Childersburg the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Yellow Jackets will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
