Volleyball Recap: Elder Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Elder waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the La Salle Lancers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in April.

While Elder won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23, 25-18.

Elder's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. As for La Salle, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elder will host Archbishop McNicholas at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for La Salle, they will welcome Walnut Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
