Baseball Game Preview: Hoosick Falls Panthers vs. Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians

For the second straight game, Hoosick Falls will face off against Waterford-Halfmoon. The Panthers will head out to challenge the Fordians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hoosick Falls proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 11) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Waterford-Halfmoon 7-5. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Fordians: they've now won eight in a row.

For Waterford-Halfmoon's part, Jack Gilbert was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Jason Fraim also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Waterford-Halfmoon is on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15. As for Hoosick Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.
