Volleyball Recap: Rockville Comes Up Short

Rockville lost against Hall back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Titans 25-21 in the first set.

Rockville took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-21, 22-25, 25-12, 15-9.

Lucas Britney paced Rockville's offense, picking up 16 kills. Britney got some help from Tibor Elcsics and his 30 assists. Finally, Britney was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Among those leading the charge was Joshua Ng, who had 17 digs and two assists.

Rockville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hall, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Rockville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Putnam on the 12th. As for Hall, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against East Hartford on the 14th.
