There's no place like home for Mountain View, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Buena Colts 3-0 on Thursday. The Mountain Lions not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8th (when they won 3-0).

Mountain View walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 25-17.

Bryant Sorensen paced Mountain View's offense, picking up 12 kills. Sorensen got some help from Chase Reidhead and his 19 assists. Finally, Sorensen was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Despite the loss, Buena saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Josiah Canales had 12 digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Canales.

The win snapped Mountain View's losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 13-16 record. As for Buena, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11.

Mountain View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Catalina Foothills on the 22nd. As for Buena, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Desert View on the 22nd.
