Softball Recap: Greene County Comes Up Short

Greene County was the 11-3 winner over Saydel when they last played one another back in June of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 9-8 on Wednesday. The Rams' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Greene County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Saydel, they moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Greene County will face off against Glidden-Ralston at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Saydel, they will take on Boone at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
