While Brewer didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down the Cony Rams 58-41 on Monday. The Witches' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brewer to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ollie Higgins, who went 7 of 10 en route to 17 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Charlie Brydges, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 17 points and three steals.

Brewer smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.

Brewer pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Cony, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brewer will head out to challenge Mt. Blue at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brewer is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.6 points per game this season. As for Cony, they will venture away from home to take on Mt. Ararat at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
