Appleton East and De Pere are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Patriots will take on the Redbirds at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Appleton East's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Appleton East turned things around against Hortonville on Tuesday. They never let the Polar Bears get on the board and left with a 1-0 win.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, De Pere was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Bay Port could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Appleton East's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. De Pere's draw gives them a new season record of 5-1-1.

Appleton East couldn't quite get it done against De Pere in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
