Legacy has gone 10-0 against Williston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Legacy will challenge the Williston Coyotes at 7:45 p.m.

Legacy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of North Dakota's top teams: Mandan, who was ranked 11th at the time (Legacy was ranked 19th). Legacy came up short against Mandan on Friday, falling 72-52. That makes it the first time this season Legacy has let down their home crowd.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Williston, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Jamestown by a score of 81-71 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Coyotes as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Williston's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 2-9. As for Legacy, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-4.

Legacy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Williston when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 76-70 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Legacy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
