Volleyball Recap: Tipton Christian Academy Find Success

The Tipton Christian Academy Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Munford Cougars on Saturday.

Tipton Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 16-25, 27-25, 25-16, 15-9.

Tipton Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Mary Carter, who had 11 digs.

Tipton Christian Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Munford, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
