Austin Prep had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They never let the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties get on the board and left with a 5-0 win.

Austin Prep's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Mount St. Charles Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Austin Prep will head out to challenge Putnam Science Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mount St. Charles Academy, they will challenge Portsmouth Abbey at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Ravens will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Mounties surely won't give up without a fight.
