Volleyball Recap: Clear Creek Comes Up Short

If Clear Creek was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Addenbrooke Classical Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golddiggers fell just short of the Gilpin County Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golddiggers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Jennifer Rodriguez-Jimenez had an outrageously good game for Gilpin County as she had 33 digs.

Clear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Gilpin County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Clear Creek will head out to square off against West Grand at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Gilpin County, they will challenge Cedaredge at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
