Baseball Recap: Katahdin's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Katahdin put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Fort Kent Warriors by a score of 7-3. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Katahdin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calvin Richardson, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Richardson has brought in this season.

Katahdin's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Fort Kent, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Katahdin beat the Warriors by a score of 2-1 later that day.
