            Chicago Mt. Carmel is 7-2 against De La Salle since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan will take on the De La Salle Meteors at 7:00  p.m. Chicago Mt. Carmel knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully De La Salle likes a good challenge.
Chicago Mt. Carmel is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They blew past Glenbard South 65-26. The Caravan have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17  matches by 21  points or more this season.

 Chicago Mt. Carmel's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Cameron Thomas, who  shot 67% from the field to rack up 26  points and six  boards. Thomas' big performance that  evening made it eight games in a row in which  he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Grant Best, who  dropped  a double-double with 18 points and 14  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, De La Salle strolled past St. Francis with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  52-34. The Meteors haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  victory against them.
 Chicago Mt. Carmel has  been performing  well recently as they've  won 17 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 72.0 points over those games. De La Salle's record now sits at 16-17.
 Chicago Mt. Carmel came out on top in a nail-biter against De La Salle when the teams last played  back in December of 2024, sneaking past  66-63. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chicago Mt. Carmel since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
