Two dominant players in Diamant Blazi and Dan Morales are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Life Christian Academy Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jordan Christian Prep will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Monday, Jordan Christian Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Central Pointe Christian Academy National, taking the game 53-43.
Dan Manoka and William Reyes-Montanez were among the main playmakers for Jordan Christian Prep as the former scored 17 points and the latter scored 17 points. The game was Reyes-Montanez's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ilich Yacaman, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Life Christian Academy suffered a rough 80-54 defeat at the hands of Gateway on Monday.
Despite the defeat, Life Christian Academy got a solid performance out of Morales, who scored 14 points. Morales scored a full 25.9% of Life Christian Academy's points, the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jaden Dinzey was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Jordan Christian Prep now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Life Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Jordan Christian Prep hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 57.4 points per game. It's a different story for Life Christian Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 49.2 points per game. The only thing between Jordan Christian Prep and another offensive beatdown is Life Christian Academy. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Everything came up roses for Jordan Christian Prep against Life Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2017 as the team secured a 78-12 win.
