Soccer Game Preview: Tyler Legacy vs. Rockwall-Heath

The Tyler Legacy Raiders will venture away from home to square off against the Rockwall-Heath Hawks at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Tyler Legacy is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Tyler Legacy will bounce into Friday's match after beating Rockwall, who they had gone 1-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Tyler Legacy won by a goal and slipped past Rockwall 3-2.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rockwall-Heath, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against Royse City on Tuesday as Rockwall-Heath made off with a 5-0 win. That five goal margin sets a new team best for the Hawks this season.

They hit Royse City with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alynna Andrade (2), Penelope Mumphrey (2), and Sydney Warner.

Tyler Legacy's record is now 12-5. As for Rockwall-Heath, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Tyler Legacy was able to grind out a solid victory over Rockwall-Heath in their previous meeting back in February, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tyler Legacy since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
