We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. Paetow is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Paetow picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 14-4 margin over New Caney. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Paetow got a great performance from Camden Phillips as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched.

At the plate, Victor Salazar was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one triple. Christian Luna also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cypress Springs). They walked away with a 9-6 victory over Fort Bend Bush on Friday.

The team relied heavily on Ean Rice, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Jonathan Rodriguez Dominguez was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Cypress Springs hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Bend Bush struck out seven times.

Paetow's record now sits at 2-4. As for Cypress Springs, their record is now 3-5.

Everything went Paetow's way against Cypress Springs when the teams last played back in March of 2021, as Paetow made off with a 12-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Paetow since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
