Volleyball Recap: Clarkston Takes a Loss

The Clarkston Angoras came up short against the Chattahoochee Cougars on Tuesday and fell 2-0. Considering the last time the Angoras couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Clarkston had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

This is the second loss in a row for Clarkston and nudges their season record down to 7-5. As for Chattahoochee, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Clarkston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Seckinger on the 17th. As for Chattahoochee, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Pius X Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on May 1.
