Basketball Recap: Berean Christian Comes Up Short

Berean Christian lost against Marquette Manor Baptist Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Berean Christian Kingsmen received a blow as they fell 38-23 to the Marquette Manor Baptist Academy Minutemen. The Kingsmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marquette Manor Baptist Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophia Mukenschnabl, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jasmine Adeoti, who earned 12 points.

Berean Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Marquette Manor Baptist Academy, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Berean Christian and Marquette Manor Baptist Academy's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Berean Christian will face off against Wisconsin School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a team that's only allowed 28.2 points per game.
