Baseball Recap: Charlotte S Comes Up Short

Charlotte S lost against Combine Academy National on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stampede might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-3 to the Goats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Stampede have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Charlotte S saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tim Barry, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Charlotte S' defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Combine Academy National, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Charlotte S will face off against Pro Stock Royals Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Combine Academy National, they will look to defend their home field on the 10th against Grace Christian at 4:00 p.m.
