Baseball Game Preview: Burlingame Panthers vs. Hillsdale Fighting Knights

The Burlingame Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Hillsdale Fighting Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Burlingame will be strutting in after a victory while Hillsdale will be coming in after a defeat.

It was a proper cat-fight when Burlingame took on Lowell on Saturday. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Cardinals 3-2. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Hillsdale came up short against Homestead last Saturday and fell 7-4.

Hillsdale saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob-Charlz Gementera, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Hillsdale's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Burlingame, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Burlingame took their victory against Hillsdale in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-9 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fighting Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
