The Philo Electrics will head out to challenge the Cambridge Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Philo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Philo took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Indian Valley by a score of 7-3.

Wyatt Tysinger and KJ Philip did most of the damage at the plate: Tysinger went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Philip went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Philip has posted over his last ten games.

Meanwhile, Cambridge got the win against John Glenn on Wednesday by a conclusive 12-1. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Mason Gregg made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Gregg was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Garrett Carpenter was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Griffin McIntire was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Cambridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Cambridge pushed their record up to 14-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Philo, their record is now 14-10.
