Football Recap: Burbank Comes Up Short

Burbank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 27-18 to the Santa Rosa Panthers.

Burbank's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Santa Rosa, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burbank will venture away from home to take on Fairfield at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Titans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Santa Rosa, they will head out to challenge Piner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Prospectors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
