Basketball Recap: Keelan Benjamin Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

There's no place like home for Lancaster, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Rosamond Roadrunners on Thursday as the Lancaster Eagles made off with a 68-43 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.

Lancaster's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keelan Benjamin, who posted 16 points. The match was Benjamin's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dajuan Manning, who put up 12 points.

Lancaster's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Rosamond, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10.

Lancaster will square off against Antelope Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rosamond has already played their next contest, a 40-23 victory against Boron on the 10th.
