Portola has gone a perfect 3-0 against Plumas Charter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 2:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Portola came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to Quincy.

Portola saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clara Klemesrud, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Plumas Charter fell victim to Portola and their airtight pitching crew two weeks ago. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 17-0. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Portola's loss dropped their record down to 11-7-1. As for Plumas Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1.

Everything went Portola's way against Plumas Charter in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Portola made off with a 17-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
