Football Game Preview: Attica Blue Devils vs. Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers

The Attica Blue Devils are taking a road trip to square off against the Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Attica will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Attica was handed a 28-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene last Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 22-21 win over Geneseo/Mount Morris. The Blue Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Attica's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Blake Kines, who rushed for 55 yards and one score, and also threw for 101 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes.

Meanwhile, Canisteo-Greenwood slipped by Geneseo/Mount Morris 14-13 on Friday.

Attica's record is now 2-3. As for Canisteo-Greenwood, their record now sits at an identical 2-3.

Attica couldn't quite finish off Canisteo-Greenwood when the teams last played back in September of 2024 and fell 14-12. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
