Parsons dropped down to 6-2 on Saturday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell 2-0 to the Burlington Wildcats. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

As for Burlington, their win bumped their record up to 8-3. While they didn't have the best season last year (they finished 17-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Among those leading the charge was Jaycee Belcher, who had nine digs and one assist. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.7 digs per game.

Parsons has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Independence on the 16th. As for Burlington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Field Kindley on the 13th.
