Basketball Game Preview: Sharon Eagles vs. Attleboro Bombardiers

The Sharon Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Attleboro Bombardiers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sharon is looking for their season's first win.

Last Tuesday, Sharon ended up a good deal behind Oliver Ames and lost 55-38. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 199th, while the Tigers are ranked 35th).

Meanwhile, Attleboro strolled past Foxborough with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 66-51.

Attleboro's record now sits at 8-1. As for Sharon, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Sharon couldn't quite finish off Attleboro when the teams last played back in January of 2024 and fell 69-66. Can Sharon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
